Our friend Geoff Marshall has released a photo of a new tube map that’s rolling out on tube platforms
So … there is a new tube map with this on, at the westbound sub-surface platform at Kings Cross. TFL rail goes to Heathrow as of Sunday May 20th. pic.twitter.com/h7GIGtQC7V

Of course this isn’t the whole story and is all part of the Crossrail opening. With the central London stations opening in December 2018 but initially as 3 stages:
- Liverpool Street (mainline station) to Shenfield
- Paddington (Elizabeth line station) to Abbey Wood via central London
- Paddington (mainline station) to Heathrow (Terminals 2 & 3 and 4)
It won’t be until December 2019 until customers from the three Elizabeth line stations in Havering (Harold Wood, Gidea Park and Romford) will be able to travel all the way through to the West End and Heathrow without needing to change.
But on travellers from Romford have already benefited from brand new, longer trains with walk-through air-conditioned carriages, live travel information and free Wi-Fi.
