Mayland’s phone line has been affected, which may take a few days to resolve. All appointments at the practice for today (23 June) and tomorrow have been cancelled. Please contact 020 3770 1888 if you need to see a local GP today.

If you need to see a GP urgently contact 020 3770 1888 for a same day appointment at one of Havering’s GP hubs. The hubs are open 6.30pm-10pm on weekdays and are located at North Street Medical Care in Romford and Rosewood Medical Centre in Hornchurch.

We have asked the NHS for their comments and when the surgery will be reopened, we are waiting a response

The NHS has updated the Maylands Practice website saying that the surgery will remain closed for the unforeseeable future. In the meanwhile, the surgery is relocating to nearby surgeries to see patients. The main telephone line has been diverted to a GP hub – 020 3770 1888 – if you need to see a local GP urgently.

Maylands wishes to apologies to all its patients for the inconvenience caused and ask for your co-operation and patience in this very trying and unprecedented time. Your understanding in this matter is highly appreciated.
