The Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford is set to host an array of style-packed activities over May half term, followed by a weekend showcasing the hottest trends at its Spring/Summer Fashion Show Weekend.
During May half term (Monday 28th to Thursday 31st May, 11am-4pm), The Liberty will encourage local children to become fashionistas, and discover their talents by designing and sketching their ideal summer outfit for the chance to win a £50 Liberty Gift Card.
On the Friday of half term (1st June), kids will also be able to build their confidence and take part in a catwalk parade for ‘One Great Day’, in support of the centre’s charity of the year Haven House Children’s Hospice, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
A fashion-filled weekend will follow on Saturday 2nd June and Sunday 3rd June as some of The Liberty’s 100+ stores will highlight the latest trends in a series of catwalk shows choreographed by Nathan Ramsey of dance troupe ‘Diversity’.
There will be four catwalk shows each day over the weekend between 11:30am and 4:30pm, which will include some of the latest arrivals from some of the centre’s shops, as well as top style tips.
All items featured in the shows will be clearly marked in the centre’s stores, so fashion fans can bag their favourite pieces from the catwalk. There will also be special offers and discounts available to shoppers throughout the weekend, that can be found in the centre’s brand new Lookbook magazine.
Shoppers will also have a chance to win a £200 Liberty Gift Card to spend at the centre, by simply registering their details on the centre’s website.
Centre Manager, Jonathan Poole said: “We are incredibly excited to be hosting a full week of fashion fun for both children and adults to enjoy.
“Our stores are offering fantastic new collections for the season and we are sure that local families will enjoy seeing the latest trends on the catwalk as well as getting creative with our half term fashion fun activity.”
