BHR have confirmed that, due to an unexpected request from Morrison’s,the Rom Valley Way Car Park at The Queen’s Hospital will be closing
Morrisons, who own the car parking site, gave the hospital very little notice that they wanted the current site back, which has been used as a car park for the hospital since Romford ice rink was demolished
BHRHospitals state on their website:
We have had confirmation from Havering Council that the car park on the former ice rink site at Queen’s Hospital will be closing this evening at 7pm (Monday 23 May). We are extremely sorry that this means that patients and visitors will no longer be able to use this car park.
Please be aware this will mean the multi-story car park will be busier than usual, and allow extra time for your journey. There are plenty of car parks in the local area – find out more in Havering’s guide to car parks.
Please accept our apologies that we could not update you any sooner. We are looking into alternative parking provision.
