Bugsy Malone
26th – 29th June
The Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch

Based on the hit 1976 film, Bugsy Malone is a tongue-in-cheek
tribute to the gangster films of the 1920s, but now it’s the
adults that get the chance to act like kids!

This slapstick musical comedy follows the rivalry between two
half-witted street gangs when Bugsy, a one-time boxer (who
hitherto has been far more occupied in sweet talking Blousey Brown, a would-be singer) steps in to take control of Fat Sam’s gang and give Dandy Dan (or in this case Danielle) and her crew what they’ve got coming.

But things do not run smoothly…
With their weapons of choice: ‘splurge’ guns, flour bombs and custard pies…things get very, VERY messy!

Join us in the Speakeasy and tap along to classics including
“Fat Sam’s Grand Slam”, “My Name is Tallulah”, “Bad Guys”,
“Tomorrow” and many more.
