Meet LEGO Batman! @ The Entertainer
The Entertainer, Unit 13/14 The Brewery, Waterloo Road, Romford

LEGO Batman will be taking time out from fighting crime in Gotham to visit an Entertainer store near you!

Please note that although Batman will be in store between 10am and 3pm, he will be taking regular breaks during this time.

Bark in the Park Dog Walk 2018
Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch

Do you have a dog?

Then why not join us for our annual charity Dog Walk extravaganza!

£5 entry for each dog, with all funds raised being donated to our charity.

Each participating dog will receive a certificate and a goody bag!
There will be a professional dog photographer present to take some great photos of your canine friends in action!
There will be a number of stalls offering dog related products and services.
Food and refreshments will also be available on the day.

Havering Junior Festival 2018
The Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch
18 – 22 June 2018

An annual event with the support of generous sponsors, leading to the presentation of awards and certificates to successful participants at the Finalists’ Concert.

Havering Music School hosts two annual competitions. The Junior Musicians’ Festival event is held in the Summer Term, and recognising that it is a celebration of the musical talent of young people in the borough, it is now called Havering Junior Musicians’ Festival.

It is for school age students, in two categories: Year 11 and under and Year 7 and under. Candidates in each class perform two pieces in an informal setting, in the presence of an invited mentor.

This event aims to encourage students to strive for their highest personal standards of technique and musicianship. Prizes are generously donated by local sponsors.

Following last years ‘sell out’ Golden Anniversary Tour, Richard is back on the road agan with a brand new show, telling stories and singing songs from his new album, Once Upon A Time. Together with special guest, Eric Sedge, Richard will perform a host of new ‘feel-good’ songs as well as his most popular golden oldies.

Not many guitarists have played a duet with Queen’s Brian May, supported Steve Martin, played an acoustic set with Status Quo or performed at The London Palladium with the late Robin Williams, Richard has. A BAFTA nominated entertainer and Gold Award recipient from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, he is also listed in the Virgin Anthology of Music as an influential writer of comedic songs. Richard promises to entertain you with his hilarious songs, poems and anecdotes in our intimate venue that he likes to call ‘home’.

An Audience with Jeffrey Holland

Jeffrey is probably best known for his portrayals of Spike in BBC TV’s Hi-De-Hi! and stuffy footman, James Twelvetrees in the hugely successful, You Rang M’Lord. Other television credits have included such greats as Dixon of Dock Green, It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, Are You Being Served? Dad’s Army and Russ Abbot’s Madhouse not to mention an illustrious theatre career with countless West End credits to his name.

A fantastic and unforgettable evening of stories and hilarious anecdotes in the company of one of the nation’s greatest comedy actors – a true national treasure. There will also be a Q&A and a chance to meet Jeffrey after the show.

Jeffrey has kindly agreed to appear to help raise money for the Brookside Theatre Seating Appeal.
