Dragons In The Woods
Ingrebourne Valley Visitor Centre, Hornchurch Country Park

Join us for some Dragon fun, make a dragons nest out of leaves in the woods then head back to the centre to make avariety of dragon craft. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Age guide is 4 years and upwards.

Dinosaur Discovery

Come and see if you can tell the difference between a fossil and a stone, pan to find different fossils to take home and start your very own collection. Have a go at excavating your very own dino fossil.. Age guide is 4 years and upwards.

Super Moon

The moon will be at its closest approach to the Earth and will look larger and brighter than usual. Find the sea of tranquillity Great Family Fun. Weather depended. Please wrap up warm. Street Dance Masterclass

Youngsters who simply can’t sit still can keep active by taking part in a Street Dance Masterclass. They’ll have great fun learning hip hop dance skills from an industry professional. This two-hour masterclass is £8 (plus 65p QNew Transformation fee) and starts at 10am for children aged 6 – 9 years and 1pm for children aged 10 – 14 years.

Children who love musicals have the fantastic opportunity to participate in a two-hour Musical Theatre Masterclass on Thursday 21 February. They will sing and dance their way through one of their favourite musical numbers and learn a full routine from a West End show! Children help make the world a safer place in this workshop,as they design our future superheroes using 2D and 3D shapes.

A knights journey to a King’s throne, ages 9-11 3-4pm
All knights go through many quests and this journey to the King’s throne is no different. We travel back to medieval times and children will joust their way through many grammar tournaments.

February Mini Fest – Play in a Day: Twisted Tales

Join us in devising your very own mashup of classical fairytales with a twist.

Participants will be encouraged to challenge their views of stories as we know them, as we take on new interpretations and viewpoints of well-known tales.

The aims of the workshop are to build confidence, teamwork skills and showmanship through games, improvisation and performance.

Alien Adventures on Monday 18 February, Jungle Groove on Tuesday 19 February and Egg-cellent Adventures on Saturday 23 February
Little ones aged 4 – 6 will be able to use their imagination and enjoy two hours of creative fun involving drama games, storytelling and craft activities. Workshops start at 10am and cost £10 (plus QNew Transformation fee) per child.
