It’s that time of year, the time of fireworks. A time for oowws and ahhhs. Here’s a list of fireworks in the area:

Harold Wood Primary School
Friday 8th November. 7.30pm

Orsett showground bonfire and fireworks show

Sunday 3rd & Tues 5th November

Both nights have huge fireworks both nights plus fun fair and food court Free parking

Coopers’ Coborn School Annual Fireworks Display
Coopers’ Coborn School, St Mary’s Lane, Upminster, RM14 3HS.
Saturday November 9, gates open at 5.30pm, firework display at 6.30pm.

The event is family friendly and includes fireworks, a bar, barbecue and live music. All money raised will go to the Parents’ Association of The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School. Pre-booked tickets can be purchased from the school office or online on the school shop at £5 for adults, £3 for children and £14 for a family of four (two adults and two children). Tickets can also be purchased on the night at £6 for adults and £4 for children. Contact: info@cooperscoborn.org.uk.

St Mary’s PTA Fireworks Night
School field, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, RM12 4TL.
Sunday November 3, 5pm.

Full details of this year’s entertainment are yet to be announced. The PTA is appealing for volunteers to help with the event.

Essex’s Largest Free Firework Display
Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, RM11 1JU.
Saturday November 9, 2-11pm. Sunday November 10, 1-8pm.

The sixth annual free firework display with a fun fair on both days. Fireworks are FREE; all rides half price on Sunday.

Family Firework Display
Upminster Infant School, Side entrance by The Crumpled Horn, Upminster, RM14 3BS.
Saturday November 2, 5pm.

Please do not bring sparklers, laser pens or alcohol to the display. A range of glow and flashing items will be sold after school from Tuesday October 29 to Friday November 1 between 3 and 3,30pm. Tickets are available for school parents via parentpay up to Monday October 28. They will also be sold outside the infant hall and school office from Tuesday October 29 to Friday November 1 between 3 and 3.30pm at £6 for adults, £4 for children over four, £1 for children under 4 and £17 for a family of two adults and two children. Tickets might also be sold on the day and night, subject to availability. Between 10am and 2pm they will be sold from the school entrance outside Superdrug or from 5pm at the gate at £7 for adults, £5 for children over four and £22 for families of four.

Firework Evening
St James Church, 173 Chase Cross Road, Romford, RM5 3YR.
Saturday November 2, 6.30-8.30pm.

An annual Bonfire night celebration with a firework display and refreshments. Tickets are £10 for a family up to five, £3.50 for adults and £1.50 for children up to the age of six.

Upminster Infant School Firework Display
St Mary’s Lane, Upminster Essex RM14 3BS
Saturday November 2nd, 5pm

If you have a child at the school these are available to purchase, via parentpay, up to Monday 28 October (and will be distributed via a child’s book bag).

Alternatively, we will be selling tickets outside the infant hall and the school office the week of the event (Mon 28 Oct, Tues 29 Oct, Weds 30 Oct, Thurs 31 Oct and Fri 1 Nov between 3pm and 3.30pm).  We will also be selling tickets from the school entrance near Superdrug on Saturday 26 October between 10am and 2pm.

Adult – £6.00

Child (4 & over) – £4.00

Child (under 4) – £1

Family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) – £18

TICKETS – ON DAY/NIGHT (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY)

Full priced tickets will be available from the school entrance outside Superdrug (between 10am and 2pm) or at the gate on the night (from 5pm).

GLOW

We will be selling a range of glow and flashing items after school on Tues 29 Oct, Weds 30 Oct, Thurs 31 Oct and Fri 1 Nov between 3pm and 3.30pm or if you can’t make our display, you can still support the school by buying items for your own firework party.

We hope to make this year’s the biggest and best display yet and look forward to seeing you there.

Billericay Round Table

The Billericay Fireworks event is organised by the Billericay Round Table each year in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Meadows park.

Attracting people from across Essex and beyond, it is an event for all the family with live entertainment, bonfire, delicious food, coffee outlets and even a mulled wine and mulled cider tent.

We’re delighted to have Radio Essex Breakfast Club presenters Chris and Abbie hosting the stage this year, keeping you entertained between the firework displays!

We have two fantastic displays for you provided by inspirational professional fireworks company Flashpoint Fireworks, previous winners of the British Musical Firework Championships. A synchronised children’s / low noise display at 7pm and the main display at 8pm choreographed to iconic soundtracks.

Gates open at 5.30pm and the event finishes at 9.00pm.
