SUP Yoga takes traditional yoga one step further by providing a truly relaxing experience, practicing yoga on a paddleboard within a beautiful lake setting.
Heartfelt SUP Yoga have teamed up with Stubbers Adventure Centre to offer Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga sessions within their charming lakeside setting surrounded in a 130 acre landscaped setting.
Vikki Kavanagh of Heartfelt Yoga tells us ‘Our SUP Yoga sessions are a unique and fun way to exercise and great for improving your core strength and stamina. They are tailored to your ability and are suitable for everyone from beginners looking for something new to experienced yogis who want that extra challenge. Whilst sitting on the water with nature connecting your body and mind, you engage every muscle to keep your body stable and balanced’.
The practice is also known to help develop a greater sense of mindfulness as you are forced to be in the ‘here and now’ whilst practicing on your floating yoga mat. Your pace of practice slows down whilst you try to maintain your balance and increase focus and you feel instantly refreshed within a calm and natural setting.
