Havering Association for People with Disabilities has offered their building along Wingletye Lane as a safe haven to any worried or nervous adults:

We would like to offer our H.A.D. building as a safe haven to any children/adults worried or nervous & near by.

Feel free to come in you can wait for someone to collect you or until you feel safe to leave.

#CaringCommunity #HelpHavering

HAD is located just a few doors down from Havering Sixth Form College, the college previously attended by Jodie Chesney, whose death has shocked the whole of the UK

The H.A.D building has an interesting history starting life as a dispersal hut for RAF Hornchurch along Suttons Lane, the hut was then relocated to Billet Lane for offices of the Hornchurch Urban District Council and finally it was moved to its present site in Woodhall Crescent by the Community Programme people (a government scheme using unemployed people).

The address of HAD is:
Havering Association for People with Disabilities
1A Woodhall Crescent
Hornchurch
RM11 3NN
