Havering College triumphed at the Essex Digital Awards in spring 2016 and staff are now hoping to be crowned Digital Awards Champions at the inaugural champion’s event which takes place at London’s prestigious BFI Southbank on the 9th February 2017.
Havering College won the coveted top prize for best website in the School, Education or Charity category at the third annual Essex Digital Awards in April last year
As winner of their category, Havering College has been automatically entered into the public-voted Digital Awards Champions competition. This pits the winners of each category from the six counties that the awards take place in against one another for overall supremacy.
The college is up against the following organisations in the public vote: Alzheimer’s Research UK (Cambridgeshire), Bishop’s Stortford College (Hertfordshire), Demelza (Kent) Supershoes by Amasci Creative (Milton Keynes), Hemsley Fraser by Lab (Surrey).
Tony Wittridge, the college’s Head of Marketing said: “We have worked very hard over the past few years to improve the college’s website and are delighted that our hard work has been recognised with an Essex Digital Award. We would love to be crowned the Digital Awards Champion so please vote for us.”
The closing date for votes is 20 January and the winners will be announced at BFI Southbank on 9 February.
