Christmas in Romford

Went to Romford today and there are two places I want to mention that are great for parents going into Romford over the next few weeks:

Santa at The Romford shopping hall

As a father of 2 I always take my children at some point to see the big guy and our favourite Santa has always been in Romford shopping hall.

The lines are short, it’s a fair price at £5 and at least a £1 of that  goes  towards the 1st Harold Hill Scout Group and includes a present. Plus on top of all this the elves will take photos on your phone for free, a service you have to pay for at The Mall grotto

The Nativity project in The Brewery

The Nativity project has been located in the Brewery for the last 5 years and seeks to share with everyone the true story behind Christmas.

Performances run from 9am – 4pm approximately every day until Sunday 18th December, with a variety of activities throughout the day, including drama, drawing, dancing and singing.

My daughter had a lot of fun and even received a ‘Happy Birthday Jesus’ gift bag.
