Trailer released for the Smile for Nathan Concert

Category: Charity 9

Nathan is 7 and has a rare brain tumour called Hypothalamic Harmartoma. It causes him to have multiple seizures daily and is really affecting his daily life. His condition is curable but unfortunately the NHS cannot fund it. We therefore need to raise £100,000 to be able to send him to Texas for treatment. We have reached this target but now need to fund another £50,000 to cover flights, accommodation, extra tests, scans , travel insurance and any added costs we may need when he is out in Texas. We want to be in a position where we can say yes to any treatment Nathan may need.

We are holding a huge fundraising concert for him at the Orchard Theatre on the 12th Feb.

Led by Lyn Paul (new seekers) and with a cast of over 100 including big west end leads from various shows including Mamma Mia, Wicked, Shrek, Blood Brothers, We Will Rock You, Matilda and many more. There is also a 42 piece live professional orchestra led by the current musical director of the UK tour of Blood Brothers. It really will be a spectacular night and all in aid of Nathan. All performers have given their time for free and all ticket money goes straight to Nathan.

We are also running a sponsored seat scheme. Every sponsored seat purchased is donated to Ellenor children’s hospice so another sick child can have a fun evening out for Free!

Someone has also agreed to fund match our concert on the 12th Feb up to the value of £20,000. This means that every seat purchased is now worth double. If we can sell out the concert, with the fund matching we can raise in the region of £40,000 in ONE NIGHT!!
