East meets West head on in this hilarious and “hot” 1940s style update of a Gilbert and Sullivan favourite.
Hot Mikado weaves a comical tale where despite life or death stakes, characters still find time to tap their toes and do their fair share of scatting.
Featuring an intoxicating mix of styles and influences; classics such as A Wand’ring Minstrel I and Three Little Maids are transformed into show-stopping blues, swing, hot gospel numbers and scorching torch songs.
Hot Mikado is at Brentwood Theatre between the 6th and 10th June 2017
